YOUR WORD STANDS FIRM

Your word stands firm for ever,

Your truth, O Lord, is everlasting,

Your law: my joy, my true delight.

Your word: a lamp to guide my steps.

A light to shine on paths of darkness:

I place my trust in your commands.

My words are Sprit, says the Lord,

My words are life for all believers,

My teaching keep and never die.br>

Whoever listens to my words,

And firmly trusts in Him who sent me.

Eternal life he shall enjoy.

The one who loves me, keeps my word,

My Father then, in turn, will love him.

We’ll come and make our home with him.

Be you all faithful to my word,

Become thus truly my disciples,

And know the truth that makes you free.
