FIRST MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR BROTHER

First make peace with your brother (sister),

Then come with your gift to the Lord. (2)

an empty sacrifice;

I desire the knowledge of God

and not a worthless offering.

Let the ones who have bread gladly share

with those who hunger now;

Let them clothe the person in need,

in love and tender mercy.

If you bring your gift to the altar

and there remember

That your neighbour has something against you,

then leave your gift at the altar and...
