Who alone has wrought marvellous works...
Whose wisdom it was made the skies...
Who spread the earth on the seas...

It was he who made the great lights...
The sun to rule in the day...
The moon and stars in the night...
Verse 4
Through the desert his people he led...
Nations in their greatness he struck.
Kings in their splendour he slew...
Verse 5
He let Israel inherit their land...
On his servant their land he bestowed.
He remembered us in our distress...
Verse 6
And he snatched us away from our foes...
He gives food to all living things...
To the God of heaven give thanks.
