We were once in darkness, now our eyes can see,

We were lost but Jesus sought and found us.

O what love He offers, O what peace He gives,

We will sing for evermore: He lives!

Hallelujah, Christ the Lord is risen from the dead!

We will live for ever, we will never die,

We will live for ever with the Lord!

We are God's own people, forward we must go,

We are called from darkness into freedom.

Nourished at this table joyously we leave,

Strengthened by the Spirit of the Lord.
