Glorify the Lord with me,

The Lord turns his eyes to the just,
His ears are attentive to their cries.

The Lord restored Jerusalem,
He brought back Israel’s exiles.
He healed their broken hearts,
He bound up all their wounds.

The Lord is compassion and love,
Slow to anger and rich in mercy.
He does not treat us according to our sins,
Nor repay us according to our faults.

He has sent deliverance to his people
And established his covenant for ever;
His designs shall stand for ever,
The plans of his heart from age to age.

The Lord is good and upright
He shows the path to those who stray.
He guides the humble in the right path,
He teaches his way to the poor.

How good and how pleasant it is
For people to dwell in unity!
