G.18 Unless a Grain of Wheat
G.18 Unless a Grain of Wheat
Section titled “G.18 Unless a Grain of Wheat”Chorus:
Unless a grain of wheat fall
in the ground and die,
It remains alone. But if it dies,
Then it yields a mighty harvest.
I have come to bring fire to the earth
And how I wish it were blazing already.
Those who worship must worship in spirit
And in truth when they worship the Father.
God’s goodness is proclaimed to the poor
And happy those whose faith does not falter.
Don’t just say to me: Lord, Lord,
But see you do the will of my Father.
You can forecast the seasons and weather,
Can’t you read the signs of your own times?
For our God is the God of the living
And his glory is man fully living.
